Ask you something ar.
Is it weird when I actually like the subjects I'm learning in uni??
A lot of people are interested in their subjects lah. Like, for example, Economics is interesting, just difficult, complicated, cannot score in exams and just plain confusing to me. Some people say Finance is interesting also...I guess so, but having my horrible account-draining activities picked to pieces by certain finance students has turned me off that subject for life :P So I don't consider it strange that I enjoy learning about Organizational Behaviour or the future of P2P music technology (I wrote my final media essay for this semester about that...mmm I loooove technology).
But when I find myself avidly reading about the benefits of PEST Analysis for Malaysian companies, or how we must tailor our brand strategies to accurately target consumers, after DAYS of wading through PRECISELY THOSE TOPICS from my Marketing textbook...
And not only that ok! I was studying in OB about groups and teams in organizations, and one of the prescribed readings was this journal article about successful self-managing teams. Halfway reading I found myself taking notes about HOW TO APPLY THE JOURNAL FINDINGS in the next meeting of the Malaysian Club committee next year.
Journal: "1. Clear, defined objectives"
Me: "Eh, wah shit wueh, I also never discussed our objectives last time. The journal here say we must not get into a team and "assume everybody knows what we're here for". WAHLAU! Better put it on the agenda for next year" *prepares next year's agenda*
Journal: "5. Authority to manage work. The team - not the leader - has decision rights over basic work strategies."
Me: "Eh SHIT. I got give people authority over their own work anot? *think think think* What if I didn't? Then they will think I intervene a lot and never trust them therefore the club will not have the benefits of the synergystic team efforts! Hiyah, better write this down on the agenda so I don't forget." *Amends agenda*
And that's not the end of it okay?! I AM A GEEK LAH!!!!
And I am also lost and have not done work all day because the bloody management website is down and I can't access the subject webpage! All the exam tips and what topics to study are all there! I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing without it! Somebody help meeeee :(

Suvs birthday supper at Stoker's. She's wearing the skull shirt we got her!!! Faster say she looks nice!!! It's super dim there hence the dark photo...but its so nice! I am mad about the place so I'm biased but there aren't enough dimly-lit cozy places to patronize at odd hours of the night...in KL the equivalent would be what, going to a mamak when blackout?? Where are all the couples to go for Valentine's Dinner etc? I'm sure Shakey's Pizza with its heart-shaped pizza is a VERY viable option:
Bf: "Dahling ah, I taking you somewhere special for Valentine's Day."
Gf: "Oh, you so good, now I can go to school and tell everyone what a romantic bf you are!"
*drive to Megamall, go Shakey's*
Bf: "See, to show my love for you, even the pizza is heart-shaped!"
Gf: "KNN."
2 pixie potion(s):
LOL.
Well, sad to say that there are guys out there who thinks that the cheesy heart shaped pizza is romantic. (Or a heart shape cake for the matter)
