I really hate it when

My computer does not do my bidding!

I bought the darn thing so I could get things done! Not so that I could sit in front of it cursing away (mentally), throwing furniture (mentally) and constantly clicking on "End Program" in the hopes that it'll unfreeze :(

Take just now for instance...I usually transfer my pics to the comp with the USB cable, because my card reader's kinda screwy and doesn't work all the time. But today, my camera battery's flat and there aren't enough adapters to charge it (which is a whole new gripe! For another post) so I tried sticking the SD card into my card reader.

*pop!* It detected a USB Storage device. Promising...
*click* Open folder to view files window opens. Woot!
*whoosh!* Folder opens. Wheee! Works la, confirm!
So I gleefully highlighted pics, and dragged them over to my pictures folder...
And nothing happens.

NEVERMIND! Because sometimes these things can be a bit slow. So I surfed the Net a little first. Came across this article in the Star about making money through blogs...wahlan! I can't believe some bloggers make that much money just by running a couple of ads a month! The day I get 2500 uniques, I'm signing up :D

Digressing...omg Snowball just yawned. It freaked me out...never knew his mouth was that big. Okay back to the topic.

Anyhoots, to cut a long story short, it hung my computer for a while, so I Ctrl+Alt+Del-ed it and clicked furiously on anything that was clickable...and my taskbar disappeared o_o. Then iTunes opened. It's sooo annoying! I have to do this like maybe two or three times a week and it gets me so mad because I take such good care of my laptop and STILL it hangs...not that often, but I'm VERY bad at being patient.

Obviously the solution would be to buy a new laptop ^_^ Anyone care to sponsor?
I want one of those super small, light ones with the shiny screens!
Or maybe, just possibly, a white MacBook! Eee! Or maybe a black one since my current laptop is already white?

Yeah, so I have nothing to blog about. Unless you really wanna know how my studying went today. Sigh. According to my scientific calculations, I have to study four week's worth a day in order to finish by Sunday. Then on Sunday I can do all the tute work, and go for the exam on Monday. Curse these tight arse lecturers who don't give us past exam papers! Is it really so hard to just scan the darn things and put them online? *sulks*
